Light Light Industry (Taiwan) Ltd, located in the picturesque Miaoli County of Taiwan, began fully operating at the end of 2008. We are a pure vegan and NON-GMO products manufacturer. 

With a wide array of high-quality vegan products, including meat alternatives, baked goods, seasonings, sauces, vegan cheese, drinks, and ice cream, it is recognized as a plant-based food pioneer in Taiwan and continues to grow and expand its reach. Our plant-based meat alternatives are shipped internationally and form the mainstay of many vegan restaurants’ repertoires around the world. We sell our products to China, Hong Kong, Germany, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, United States, Vietnam, just to mention a few. We have also very good feedback from our customers. You can find our products on the menus of worldwide famous hotels, Hollywood movie stars’ favorite restaurants, tourist-attraction cafés, and surely on everyday dinner tables.

Our facility is about 72,000 square feet (6689 square meters). In its design we have taken every food safety regulation into consideration, including traffic flow planning and space design. In terms of food safety, we adhere to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 22000) standards for raw material procurement, production, packaging, and transportation. We have a set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with the government’s food safety regulations. Through such quality control measures, we aim to prevent any cross-contamination from happening. Every year, we also submit random product samples for microbial testing to ensure food safety. In addition, we train our employees in food safety. The reason we attend to every detail is not just for food safety, but also to maintain traceability in the event a problem occurs.

When it comes to raw material quality control, we require every supplier to provide validated ingredient certificates, such as certified pesticide residue tests, NON-GMO certificates, and food component analysis.

In the area of vector control, we use natural, non-toxic control methods that do not cause harm to our Mother Earth or any life. Our core principle is the protection of the environment and life on Earth, and that extends to every aspect of our operation.

Our food production can be divided into four departments: The frozen food department mainly produces items like vegan eggs, vegan steak, vegan ham, vegan shrimp, vegan fish, vegan chicken, and vegan hot pot. The bakery department produces Chinese and Western vegan cakes and pastries, such as vegan cheese pies, vegan cakes, bagels, croissants, and cookies. The cereal powder department produces instant nut & cereal powder. Last, but not least, is our favorite, the ice cream department.

In our production, we incorporate automated production lines capable of meeting large orders. However, we also produce a proprietary line of handmade delicacies. Some of our most popular export items are vegan egg, vegan chicken, vegan fish, vegan shrimp, and black pepper patties.

We insist on in-house manufacturing to ensure purity and quality. If we do outsource, it is only for a few items, and in those cases, we will supply all the component material.

As a vegan food company, we are proud in producing pure plant-based products free of meat, dairy, eggs, and unhealthy components such as chemical preservatives, artificial flavorings or colorings, and GMO ingredients. Every staff understands that the goal is to make food that not only nourishes the body, but also elevates the soul. Why are our products so popular? One of my colleagues shared her thoughts with us. While she is making bagels, she thinks of nothing else but concentrate on noble thoughts all the time. All our products are made with good energy and love. All our staff are vegan. We have been working diligently for the ideal of a vegan world. To us, our co-inhabitants from the animal kingdom are sentient beings. They are our friends, not our food.
